The following statement is attributable to Airlines for America (A4A):
“A4A greatly appreciates the Senate prioritizing passage of the FAA authorization extension before recessing for the holidays. The continuance of FAA’s operating authority is crucial for the system as air carriers are in one of our busiest seasons for passengers and cargo alike. We look forward to our continued work with Chair Cantwell and Ranking Member Cruz to produce a bipartisan Senate bill to conference with the House legislation.”
