Our member airlines work hard every day to provide high-quality customer service, delivering passengers and packages safely to their destinations. Through the transfer of people and goods, U.S. airlines connect us to cultures and traditions across the world, truly making it a smaller place.
While as passengers we may not always be witness to their great work, the evidence is all around us. In case you missed it, here are highlights from a few of our member airlines last week.
Alaska Airlines
Did you know Alaska Airlines celebrates Earth Day every day by recycling all bottles, cans, cups and paper on all domestic flights?
United Airlines
After 17-year-old Zion Spencer was diagnosed with cancer, he was unable to continue playing basketball. Upon hearing his story, United teamed up with the Golden State Warriors to fly Zion and his family to San Francisco for a game and one-on-one time with Shaun Livingston and Steph Curry.
UPS
In celebration of the annual Thunder Over Louisville air show, UPS’s new 747-8F flew over the Ohio River and downtown Louisville, making for some awesome footage.
