Airlines for America Statement on House Passage of Bipartisan FAA Reauthorization Bill

WASHINGTON, September 26, 2018 – Today, Airlines for America (A4A) President & CEO Nicholas E. Calio issued the following statement applauding House passage of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act of 2018.

We commend the bipartisan leadership of Chairman Bill Shuster (R-PA) and Ranking Member Peter DeFazio (D-OR) in delivering a long-term FAA bill that advances America’s role as a global aviation leader, while enabling the industry to continue meeting the needs of our customers and supporting and investing in our industry workforce. We urge the Senate to quickly follow suit and pass this important legislation.
