Member Monday

Our member airlines work hard every day to provide high-quality customer service, delivering passengers and packages safely to their destinations. Through the transfer of people and goods, U.S. airlines connect us to cultures and traditions across the world, truly making it a smaller place.

While as passengers we may not always be witness to their great work, the evidence is all around us. In case you missed it, here are highlights from a few of our member airlines last week.

Alaska Airlines

When Tim Cook, a deaf and blind passenger, needed assistance onboard his Alaska Airlines flight, the flight attendants located 15-year-old Clara Daly, who went above and beyond to make Cook’s flight “the best trip he’s ever taken.”

Southwest Airlines

Wedding bells were ringing at cruising altitude when Southwest passengers Renee and Michael tied the knot on their flight from Las Vegas to Baltimore! Their vows included a promise to be each other’s lifelong “travel companion.”

United Airlines

United Airlines arranged a special surprise for two Special Olympics figure skaters. It’s impossible to hold back a smile as you watch Sharita and Shaye meet their Olympic hero.

UPS

Thanks to UPS, a piece of the historic USS Arizona will have a new home in Texas. The cargo carrier is helping transport the 800-pound piece over 3,600 miles to the Texas Panhandle War Memorial.
