A Better Flight Plan

Connecting Communities

Member Monday

Our member airlines work hard every day to provide high-quality customer service, delivering passengers and packages safely to their destinations. Through the transfer of people and goods, U.S. airlines connect us to cultures and traditions across the world, truly making it a smaller place.

While as passengers we may not always be witness to their great work, the evidence is all around us. In case you missed it, here are highlights from a few of our member airlines last week.

American Airlines

Are you Team Aisle or Team Window? American Airlines asked a few celebrities to weigh in!

FedEx

Fun fact to celebrate Earth Month: FedEx uses solar energy in 14 package sorting facilities.

Hawaiian Airlines

Have you brushed up on your Hawaiian lately? Hawaiian Airlines recently celebrated their unique culture with flights staffed with Hawaiian-speaking flight attendants.

In celebration of our rich Hawaiian culture, several flights yesterday between Honolulu and Hilo were staffed with Flight Attendants fluent in Hawaiian language: Kainoa McGill, Kamyl Burrows and Punahele Kealanahele-Querubin. Together they led announcements and service both in ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i (Hawaiian language) and English, creating a unique and memorable experience for our guests. // “E Ola Mau Ka ‘Ōlelo Hawai‘i.” The Hawaiian language shall live.
